Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk

I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, understand that participation in Knight LARPing Battle activities involves physical activity and inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Accidental contact with foam weapons.

  • Falls, trips, or collisions during gameplay.

  • Minor cuts, bruises, or more severe injuries.

While safety measures, including mandatory helmets and foam-padded equipment, are enforced, these risks cannot be entirely eliminated.

By signing below, I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in these activities.

Release of Liability

In consideration of participation in Knight LARPing Battle, I agree to release, waive, and discharge Knight LARPing Battle, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability, claims, or damages that may arise from participation in its activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Washington State law.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knight LARPing Battle, its staff, and affiliates from any claims or legal actions arising from the minor’s participation, including attorney fees and costs, unless caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Medical Consent

I authorize Knight LARPing Battle to administer first aid to the minor in case of injury and to seek emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Agreement to Follow Rules

I certify that my child and I understand and agree to the following:

  1. Safety Equipment: Helmets and protective gear must be worn at all times during activities.

  2. Prohibited Conduct: Headshots, intentional rough play, or unsafe actions are strictly prohibited.

  3. Compliance: Participants must follow all rules and instructions provided by Knight LARPing Battle staff.

Failure to adhere to these rules may result in removal from activities without a refund.

Media Release (Optional)

I grant Knight LARPing Battle permission to use photos or videos of the minor participant for promotional purposes.
